The Rochester Lancers (formerly known as Rochester River Dogz FC) are an American soccer team based in Rochester, New York. Founded as the Rochester River Dogz in 2015, the team rebranded as the Rochester Lancers in April 2017. The team play its home games at the Aquinas Institute's Wegmans Stadium.
Their name comes from the original Lancers who played from 1967 until 1980 as well as the indoor team that began play in 2011.
Les Rochester Lancers sont une équipe américaine de soccer professionnelle basée à Rochester, dans l'État de New York. Fondés en 1967, ils ont participé à l'American Soccer League (ASL), à la North American Soccer League (NASL) et à la United Soccer League (USL). Les Lancers ont remporté deux championnats de l'ASL, un championnat de la NASL et un championnat de l'USL. Ils sont surtout connus pour avoir été la première équipe américaine à remporter un titre international, la Coupe des vainqueurs de coupe de la CONCACAF 1992. Les Lancers jouent leurs matchs à domicile au Rochester Rhinos Stadium.
