Football Club Samartex 1996, more commonly known as Samartex, is a Ghanaian professional football team based at Samartex Park in Tarkwa that plays in the Ghana Premier League. The club was founded in 1995 by the Samartex Timber & Plywood Company as a recreational football club, and gained promotion from the Third Division to the Second Division of the Western Region in their first season.

Samartex est un club de football ghanéen basé à Samreboi, dans la région occidentale. Fondé en 1979 sous le nom de FC Samartex, le club a changé de nom en 2005 pour devenir Samartex FC. Le club joue ses matchs à domicile au stade du FC Samartex.

Samartex a remporté le titre de champion du Ghana en 2003 et 2004. Le club a également remporté la Coupe du Ghana en 2003.

Les couleurs du club sont le jaune et le bleu. Le surnom du club est "Les Jaunes et Bleus".

Samartex est l'un des clubs les plus populaires du Ghana. Le club a une grande base de supporters dans la région occidentale.
