Sporting Club Bengaluru (simply known as Sporting Bengaluru) is an Indian professional football club based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The club currently competes in the I-League 2, the third tier of the Indian football league system and the Bangalore Football League.

History

Founded in 2022, SC Bengaluru made its debut in the 2022–23 Bangalore Super Division. They clinched the title in their inaugural season ahead of their closest rivals FC Bengaluru United, attaining 46 points in 18 games. With their win, they closed on a spot in the 2023–24 I-League 3, the newly formed fourth tier of the Indian football league system. The club managed to qualify for the I-League 2 after beating Kerala United by 2–1 in the playoffs.

Le SC Bengaluru, également connu sous le nom de Blues de Bengaluru, est un club de football indien basé à Bengaluru, Karnataka. Fondé en 2013, le club évolue actuellement dans la Super League indienne, le plus haut niveau du football indien.

Le stade du club est le Sree Kanteerava Stadium, d'une capacité de 25 000 places. Les Blues de Bengaluru ont remporté deux fois la Super League indienne, en 2018-19 et 2022-23. Ils ont également remporté la Coupe de la Fédération indienne en 2015 et la Super Coupe indienne en 2018.

Le club est connu pour son style de jeu offensif et son soutien fidèle. Les Blues de Bengaluru ont une forte rivalité avec le FC Goa, et leurs matches sont souvent très disputés.

Parmi les joueurs notables du SC Bengaluru figurent Sunil Chhetri, Harmanjot Singh Khabra, Udanta Singh et Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
